Contributes to plastic manufacturing in a fast-paced environment by organizing parts, materials, and handling manufacturing orders. Primary responsibility is to work with teammates processing plastics parts for various orders. This is primarily done through the utilization of various hand tools, power tools and thermal forming machine.

Responsibility/Activity

  • Experts in plastic vacuum forming, mold setup, and thermoforming
  • Observes product and materials online to assure proper production
  • Performs visual check of product to assure uniformity and lack of flaws to ensure that specifications are met.
  • Ensure proper operation of machines to produce a quality product.
  • Use proper troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve line related problems
  • Read and record process settings and enter into the computer.
  • Ensure startup checklists are complete and to procedure.
  • Track and record all machine and quality downtime accurately and to the procedure.

Skills Profile

  • Degree or Diploma preferred / High School minimum
  • 5 years’ experience in a specific role
  • You have to have a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
  • Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.
  • You need to have a working knowledge of products and their quality requirements.
  • Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality-focused is a must.
  • You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
  • You will need to able to perform repetitious duties, including stairs and standing for long periods of time.
  • You will need to have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
