Job Description

Responsibilities
Technical Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to 2–3 Customer Engineering Engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and design discussions to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Encourage best practices in coding, debugging, and problem-solving.

Project Management:
- Plan, prioritise, and delegate tasks to meet project timelines and quality standards while collaborating with the Engineering Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success Managers, product teams, and engineering teams, to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Monitor project progress, proactively addressing risks and blockers to keep deliverables on track.
- Maintain transparency by providing regular status updates to the Engineering Manager and other stakeholders.

Technical Execution and Problem-Solving:
- Lead the design and implementation of tailored technical solutions for complex customer-specific requirement
- Serve as the escalation point for resolving advanced technical challenges.
- Develop proofs-of-concept (PoCs), prototypes, and custom integrations for strategic customers.
- Ensure all deployments meet client's performance, scalability, and security standards.

Customer Collaboration and Advocacy:
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers to understand customer needs and technical challenges.
- Advocate for customer-centric product enhancements and improvements.
- Act as a technical advisor for strategic accounts, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Internal Process Improvement:
- Drive initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Customer Engineering team.
- Contribute to refining internal tools, documentation, and processes to enhance team productivity.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs
Description

The Technical Lead for Customer Engineering for our client is responsible for guiding a small team of engineers in delivering seamless integration, deployment, and operation of AI-driven solutions for customers. This role blends project management,
technical mentorship, and hands-on engineering to ensure team efficiency and alignment with customer and organisational goals. Acting as both a leader and collaborator, the Technical Lead plays a key role in ensuring the success of critical technical and business projects.

- Programming Languages: Python, TypeScript
- Integration Protocols: HTTP APIs, SFTP
- Infrastructure: AWS Serverless Stack, Kubernetes, Kafka

- Experience designing and implementing scalable and secure technical solutions.
- Familiarity with modern system architecture and cloud deployment strategies.

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a technical team.
