Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Oracle Project Accounting Business Analyst will serve as the strategic interface to the business for the purpose of Oracle Cloud implementation, configuring, solution design, and support.
- Should have strong implementation experience in Oracle Cloud Project Accounting (PPM) with excellent understanding of PPM Project Setups, Costing, Contracts, Revenue Generation, Auto Accounting and Period End processing.
- Must me very hands-on and strong with PPM integrations to AR, AP, PO, HR, Revenue (RevPro or other tools) and GL.
- Hands on experience on Revenue 606 implementation/ integration, preferred RevPro.
- Revenue 606 methodology with Performance obligations and Stratification analysis
- Knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables, integration points and technology processes are critical to success in this role.
- Lead the module and coordinate with other tracks for cross-functional topics.
- Work closely work with Tech team during Design & Build of Integrations, Reports, Customizations and Extensions.
- Work with application analysts from other verticals and consultants for EBA implementation project throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with implementation consultants, business stakeholders and IT teams in defining, prioritizing, and executing to build robust Oracle Cloud based solutions that support efficient Project Accounting.
- Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing through Cloud PPM release.
- Create Test strategies.
- Test the applications and support business on their queries during UAT & other testing phases.
- Participation in Cutover Activities and post Go-Live support.
- Good Hands on with End-to-End scenarios, Reports, Integrations, Conversions & Extensions for Cloud implementation programs.
DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking an energetic, inquisitive, and experienced resource for the position of Project Accounting & Revenue Business Analyst for our finance team in Bangalore. The position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions and implementing the Projects Accounting module(PPM) and Oracle Cloud integration with RevPro on the Oracle SAAS platform along with the Reports, Conversions, Extensions, and Integrations with any applicable edge applications.
